Synergy Volleyball Club accommodates athletes of all skill levels. From basic or beginner to college-bound standout, our club offers a high-energy, well-rounded experience for middle and high school athletes.
In order to ensure that all clubs are operating on an even playing field, the Keystone region (KRVA) defines a multi-day window (called the open tryout period) during which tryouts can occur for select age groups. As a result, there is a physical limit to the days that tryouts can be scheduled on and conflicts between clubs will naturally occur.
Synergy believes that most athletes are best served trying out for a single age group based on their age and/or grade. Please see the above age chart for all the details on determining your age group as defined by USAV, along with other related considerations. Synergy holds a primary tryout and a secondary tryout for each level. Attending the primary tryout is ideal, the secondary date can be used if you have tryout conflicts with other clubs and/or if your athlete is looking for additional time on the court in front of our coaches.
Team selections are only made after the second day of tryouts and there are no cuts performed along the way.
Ideally Synergy would offer all athletes a place to play on a team, unfortunately at this time we have to limit the size of our teams, both boys and girls, and we will have to make cuts to accommodate our courts space and allotted teams for the 2025 season.
While we encourage everyone to attend both days of tryouts, we understand that not everyone will be able to do so. If you can only attend the first day of tryouts, then please let one of the coaches on-site know that you will not be coming back for the second day. This will allow them to focus a little more on you that day. If you can only attend the second day of tryouts, then we will figure that out ourselves when you don't show up the first day.
Offer emails will be sent out Wednesday evening after tryouts are completed between the hours of 7pm-9pm.
If you haven't received an offer by Wednesday evening after tryouts and were anticipating one, please email us at info@synergyvolleyball.com to inquire on the status of your offer. Many athletes attend our tryouts and there may be an error on our part. Those who are waitlisted will be notified at this time as well. Our waitlists are made for each age group, not all initial offers are accepted and then we move to identify players on the waitlist to add to teams needing players to complete their rosters.
