Taylor Suto discovered her love for volleyball during her freshman year of high school. She quickly mastered the fundamentals and strategies of the game, becoming completely enamored with it. Taylor’s passion and dedication led her to play on her school’s varsity team for two years, where she served as captain during her senior year. She was recognized for her outstanding performance by earning a spot on the first-team all conference team for the West Jersey Interscholastic Volleyball League (WJIVL). Taylor also set a record for career digs, racking up an impressive 537 digs during her senior year. She gained valuable experience by playing for various club teams, including East Coast Crush Volleyball Club, Cherry Hill Volleyball Club, and South Jersey Volleyball Club, and also competed on a GAV beach team for three years.
In college, Taylor continued to excel in volleyball, playing for Alvernia from 2018 to 2021. She was a starting OH/DS on the team and recorded the highest number of kills (140), digs (209), and service aces (29) during her senior year. Her performance was recognized when she was named to the All-tournament team at the Moravian tournament, as voted by the coaches of the participating teams.
In addition to volleyball, Taylor was also a member of the Equestrian team from 2018 to 2023, serving as captain from 2020 to 2022. She made a regional and zone appearance in 2021 and also competed at the regional level in her final year in 2023.
Coach Taylor brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her coaching position at Synergy, having previously coached beach volleyball for GAV from 2018 to 2021. She has a well-rounded understanding of the game, having primarily played as an OH/DS but also gaining experience in other positions throughout her career. Taylor has been playing beach volleyball for 8 years and has also competed in grass competitions. Her dedication and expertise make her a valuable asset to the Synergy coaching staff.
